Ó na Múinteoirí ar fad anseo: ‘Míle buíochas as gach rud agus bíodh Samhradh fada suaimhneach te agus tirim ag gach duine agaibh agus feicfimid arís sibh ar an 29 Lúnasa le cúnamh Dé!!’ Guímid gach rath ar na clanna atá ag fagáil na scoile go speisialta! From ourselves, na múinteoirí: ‘Many thanks for everything and have a nice long relaxed warm summer and we’ll see you all again on August 29th!’ School closes for Summer Holidays at 12.00pm on Wednesday next.
15 Teaghlach ag imeacht as Rang a 6! Slán agus Míle Míle Buíochas!! 15 families whose youngest child leaves Rang a 6 say ‘Slán’ agus in return ‘Míle Buíochas’ from us !
Tá deireadh na bliana tagtha. Rinne na páistí thar cionn ina lán rudaí. Rinne sibhse tuistí thar cionn chomh maith. Fagfaimid slán ag páistí Rang a 6 agus ag roinnt teaghlach. The School year is about to end. A tremendous amount of work has been done and the children have excelled in so many ways and so many things. On Monday, at Rang a 6’s Céimniú, we will say ‘Slán’ agus ‘Go n-éirí an bóthar libh!’ to 15 families as in the case of
Muintir Uí Longáin, Uí Aillín, Uí Mhurchú, Uí Chairbre, Uí Chonnacháin, Mhic Grealaí, Uí Laighin, Mhic Giolla Phádraig, Mhic Gearailt, Uí Stiobhard, Uí Bhroin, Uí Riagáin, Mhic Aoidh, Uí Bhradaigh & Uí Bhurtúin,
the youngest child leaves Rang a 6 next week. We will miss them and their long contribution to school life and for many years as Cairde de hÍde helpers, Scoil Nua and Bord Bainistíochta members, etc. We wish them the very best for the future. Arís go n-éirí libh!
Imíonn scoláirí Rang a 6 as an Scoil le dul go Meánscoileanna éagsúla. Guíonn muid rath Dé ar gach duine acu agus go n-éirí leo ina saol agus ina saol oideachais amach anseo!! Our Rang a 6 students graduate and leave us to go to various Second Level Schools. On Monday night next, June 24th at 7.00 p.m. they will have a ‘Céimniú’ in the School with their families and teachers. We wish them the very best, both in life and in Education!!!
Tuismitheoirí Parents Seiceáil sa mbaile i gcomhar aon leabhar scoile agus iad a chur ar ais roimh deireadh na bliana. Please check at home for any rental school books and return them before end of year.

Míle buíochas do na tuistí agus na hiarscoláirí a chabraigh Dé Céadaoin ag Comórtas Kyle. Bhuaigh muid in aghaidh Ghaelscoil Osraí, Cill Chainnigh sa Chraobh. Many thanks to all parents and past-pupils who helped with the Hurling Competition on Wed. 9 Gaelscoileanna from all over Ireland attended. Great day had by all! Thankfully the winning streak continued and Gaelscoil de hÍde beat Gaelscoil Osraí, from Kilkenny in a very close final.

Campaí Samhraidh
Tá bileogaí eolais sa mhórhalla faoi na campaí samhraidh a bheidh ar súil sa cheantar má tá suim agaibh. There are leaflets in the foyer with information about the various summer camps which will take place around the area.

Tá Bord Bainistíochta na Scoile sasta a fhógairt go bhfuil an post Príomhoide Ghaelscoil de hÍde líonta go buan ag Siobhan Ní Bhéara tar éis do Mhait Ó Brádaigh eirí as an bpost an mhí seo caite.
The School’s Bord Bainistíochta is happy to announce the appointment of Siobhan Ní Bhéara as the permanent Príomhoide. The Board expressed its gratitude to Siobhán for her major contribution over the past 2 years as acting Príomhoide and is looking forward this work continuing in the future. At a recent meeting, the Board extended it’s congratulations and thanks to Mait Ó Bradaigh for his dedication, service and contribution to the growth of the school during the past 18 years.
