Permission for Seesaw sharing app

A Chairde,

Tá súil agam go bhfuil gach duine ag coinneáil chomh maith agus is féidir na laethanta aisteach seo.

There are a few things we’d like to draw your attention to this coming week.

Firstly, bank holiday Monday – enjoy the day.

The school has been taking part in the Active Flag application with Múinteoir Áine – Seachtain Gníomhach or active week is this week. As part of this we would ask the children to make an obstacle course in the garden or in the house and if you could send a short video or picture to Munteoir Áine we will try to include it as part of our school’s application - these can be sent to

Oranmore Arts Festival is next weekend – 7th – 10th May. The fantastic creative team has decided that rather than cancelling the festival they have moved many of the events online. There is something for everyone and the full programme of events can be found at

Finally, we are trying out a new way to try to help the children with their on-going school work. We are going to use seesaw to make it easy for the children to share their work with the teachers and to create an online portfolio.

In order to do this for GDPR purposes we will need permission. Please click on the separate message below with more details about seesaw – if you email your class teacher looking for a code we will take this as you giving permission to join the class seesaw.

The class teacher’s will be sending out next week’s work later today.

Please contact me, or your class teacher with any questions.

Tabhair aire,

Múinteoir Siobhán.
