Beidh Tráthnóna Eolais faoi Ghaelscoilaíocht againn do thuismitheoirí nua ar Déardaoin, an 24 Meán Fómhair ag 7.30i.n..
Tabharfaidh an tráthnóna deis do thuismitheoirí tuilleadh eolais a fháil faoi Ghaelscoil de hÍde, faoin ngaelscolaíocht agus faoin taithí a bhíonn ag páistí agus teaghlaigh sa Ghaelscoil.
Beidh rollacháin don scoilbhliain 2027–2028 á nglacadh againn ón 1 Deireadh Fómhair go dtí an 21 Deireadh Fómhair.

We will be holding an Information Evening on Gaelscoilaíocht for new parents on Thursday, September 24th at 7.30p.m .
The evening will give parents an opportunity to learn more about Gaelscoil de hÍde, Gaelscoilaíocht and the experience of children and families in an Irish-medium school.
We will be accepting enrolment applications for the 2027–2028 school year from October 1st to October 21st.

Tá áthas orm fáilte a chur romhaibh go súiomh idirlín Ghaelscoil de hÍde. Tá súil agam go dtabharfaidh sé blás do chultúir agus etos na scoile daoibh.
Is gnáth bunscoil í, Gaelscoil de hÍde ina bhfuil an Ghaeilge mar phríomh teanga na scoile. Anseo , bíonn gach rud seachas Béarla deánta trí Ghaeilge – ní bhíonn Béarla ar súil ar choir ar bith go dtí an dara tearma de Naíonáin Mhóra.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Gaelscoil de hÍde Website which, I hope will provide you with a flavour of the school, its ethos and its culture.
Gaelscoil de hÍde is an ordinary National School of the Irish State that teaches all school subjects, except English, through the medium of the Irish Language. Irish is also the management language of the school. In Gaelscoil de hÍde an early immersion policy applies and, accordingly, English, as a subject doesn’t commence until after Christmas of the second year, Naíonáin Mhóra.
Gaelscoil de hÍde is a Catholic school, our Patron is Bishop Michael Duignan.

Misiún na Scoile - Forbairt oideachasúil, intleachtúil, fisiciúil, spioradálta agus mórálta trí mhéan na Gaeilge a spreagadh i measc na scólairí, i dtimpeallacht a thugann tús áite don mheas, don chuimsiú, don fhéinmheas agus d’fhobairt gach ball de phobal na scoile.
